  1. Standard

  3. Undersize (- 1/32)

Q What size grips should I use?
A

There is no industry standard in grip sizes. However, based on your hand/glove size, we recommend the following sizing chart:

Your Hand/Glove size Grip size
Men’s XL Super Jumbo
Men’s L/ Cadet XL, L Midsize
Men’s ML/Cadet ML Standard
Men’s M/Cadet M Standard
Men’s S/Cadet S Standard - Undersize

The above chart is for reference only. We recommend that you talk to a professional club-fitter to help you determine the best size of grips for you.

Q What is the difference between EFG series and EFG-R series grips?
A

Both series share the same under-listing (inside tubing).

The EFG series grips are wrapped with a softer polymer surface. This softer surface is preferred by many gofers for its comfortable feel. The EFG series is entirely biodegradable, including the top layer polymer.

The EFG-R series grips are wrapped with a thin rubber skin that provides better traction, a slightly firmer feel and better durability than polymer. However, this thin layer of rubber skin (about 15 % of the weight of the grip) is not biodegradable.

Q This grip is biodegradable. Will the grips change property if I play a lot in the rain?
A Unlikely unless the grips are kept wet for a very long time. The biodegrading of this grip will start only when the grip is in contact with moisture for a prolong period of time. Exposure to water for short period of time will not change the grip.
Q How long should the EFG grips last?
A

The EFG grips may last more or less than one season depending on the frequency of use.

Q What is the proper way to take care of this grip?
A You can clean the grip with a soft towel with a small amount of water to gently wipe the grip. The EFG grips are made of a foam material to absorb shock. Never immerse BigLite grips in water and never scrub the grip with a brush!

BigLite Super Jumbo Putter Grips
Q Is the BigLite Putter Grip USGA approved for tournament play?
A

YES. The BigLite Putter Grip conforms to USGA rules and is approved for tournament play.

Q How BIG is the BigLite grip?
A

The BigLite 1 is 1.70” (43 mm) in diameter and about twice as big as a regular putter grip.

The BigLite 2 is 1.5” (38 mm) in diameter.

The BigLite 3 is a pistol shape grip at about 1.3” in width and 1.7” in depth.

Q What is the weight of the BigLite grip compared to most regular putter grips?
A
  • The BigLite 1 weighs 95 grams.
  • The BigLite 2 weighs 85 grams.
  • The BigLite 3 weighs 75 grams
  • Most regular-sized putter grips weighs between 65 to 75 grams.
Q How much lighter is the BigLite compared to other Super Jumbo putter grips?
A

The BigLite is 55 - 65 % lighter.

BigLite 1 95 grams
BigLite 2 85 grams
BigLite 3 75 grams
Wishbone 230 grams
2 Thumb 180 grams
Super Stroke 230 grams
Q What does increase in grip weight do to my putter's swing-weight?
A

Each 5 gram increase on grip weight will reduce about 1 "swing-weight". Therefore, if your regular grip weighs 70 grams and you switch to BigLite 2, your putter will now feel 3 swing-weights lighter. For example, if the swing weight of your putter was D7, it will now go down to D4. The overall weight of the putter will now go up by 15 grams (less than 3 %).

This change is very minimal for a putter and will virtually give you the same feel weight-wise.

Now consider the switch to a popular Super Jumbo putter grip that weighs 230 grams. At 230 grams, it is 160 gram heavier than a regular grip. Your putter's swing-weight will now be reduced by 80 “swing-weights”. What would that be on a swing-weight scale? The overall weight of the putter will also go up by 160 grams, which translates to roughly an increase of 24%. That is way too big a change in feel!

Q How many colors are the BigLite putter grips available in?
A The BigLite 1, 2 & 3 putter grips are each available in 5 color combinations. (Please check product page for selection)
